Legacy

What Will Your Legacy Say?

Tetla Mendez CampbellAugust 20264 min read

Legacy is more than what we leave behind.

It is what we leave within the people God has entrusted to us.

Our children are watching. Our families are watching. The people we lead, encourage, and serve are watching.

They may not remember every word we spoke, but they will remember how we lived.

Did we love? Did we forgive? Did we serve? Did we keep trusting God when life became difficult? Did our lives point people toward Christ?

Legacy is built one decision at a time. It is built in our homes, in our marriages, in our conversations, in our obedience, and in the values we intentionally pass to the next generation.

My prayer is not simply that my name will be remembered. My prayer is that Christ will be remembered because of the life I lived.

Prayer: Lord, help me live today with eternity in mind. Let the life I build point my family and the generations after me toward You. May my legacy be one of faith, love, obedience, and service. Amen.
